The Greene County Community Foundation reminds area non-profit organizations that the deadline for GCCF grant applications is this Thursday, Feb. 11. Grant applications, complete with five hard copies, must be at Home State Bank by 4 pm.
Grant applications for 2016 funding from the Community Foundation are now available on the Grow Greene County website at growgreenecounty.org, at Home State Bank, or at any public library in the county.
The Community Foundation will accept applications for less than $35,000 and will fund up to 75 percent of a project. The foundation has in excess of $110,000 to award, provided by Grow Greene County from its share of gaming revenue from Wild Rose Jefferson.
Community Foundation board members will score the applications on Feb. 20 and grants will be awarded and available on March 28.
